Middlefield Cheese’s Facilities
Middlefield Cheese is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Geauga County about 35 miles east of Cleveland in Middlefield, Ohio, just one mile north of State Route 87 on Rt. 608. Here you will enjoy the sights and sounds of one of the largest Amish settlements in the United States. Come for a visit and make a day of it. There is plenty to see and do!
Middlefield Cheese Chalet Shop
Today local residents and visitors from all over the world find local & gourmet products, including the most popular cheeses, meats, Geauga County Maple Syrup, pancake mixes, jams and imported items.
The store has become a destination not to be missed. Stop for a sample and you’ll see why!

Cheese House Museum
Visitors are invited to view a film “ Middlefield Cheese... Better Than Ever!” which carefully describes each step in the cheese-making process. Then a visit to the Cheese House museum which features Old World Carvings from Switzerland, and antique cheese-making equipment, Amish artifacts and historical photos.

Manufacturing Plant
Our Swiss cheese is manufactured on site. The manufacturing facility is modern, highly automated and ready to supply a safe and exceptionally tasty Swiss cheese. Ingredients that are delivered to the plant are 100% kosher certified, and the milk is 100% Grade A. We take pride in the workmanship of our products as we blend the artistry of the past with the innovation of the future.
